Hair follicles contain sebaceous glands, which lubricate the hair but may sometimes become overactive, secreting more sebum than necessary and resulting in greasy, “weighed-down” and flat hair.

Thanks to the combination of Ivy, Watercress, Nettle and Propolis extracts - rich in bioflavonoids, which are purifying and sebum-regulating – and a sugar and amino acid condensate, this BioLotion restructures the hair in depth and seals the hair cuticles.

A Vitamin B complex, specifically developed to rebalance sebum by inhibiting the enzyme in charge of its production, purifies the scalp and reduces irritation and itching, improving hair beauty and volume.

Moreover, the highly restructuring properties of sweet Almond proteins and Apple vinegar, which restores natural skin pH, give new life to the hair, making it shiny, supple and beautiful.

Apply before BioShampoo or in between washes (if shampooing hair twice). Distribute evenly on the scalp, leave on for a few minutes and rinse off.

If hair gets dirty quickly and after a couple of days after washing it already looks greasy, this may depend on dietary, hormonal or hereditary factors, but oftentimes things are worsened by the use of too-aggressive shampoos that overwork the glands.
Dandruff consists of small white scales due to an acceleration in cell turnover in the scalp and to the hyperactivity of sebaceous glands.
The areas subject to dandruff are normally characterized by the presence of a yeast - Pityrosporum ovalis – which is believed to be responsible for the inflammatory reaction of the skin to cell proliferation and pH alteration.
